Privacy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This is the privacy policy for saladkids.com, run by Salad Kids. It is written in plain language on purpose.

The short version

We collect one thing on this site: email addresses that grown-ups choose to give us. We collect nothing from children — no names, no accounts, no profiles. There is no behavioural advertising on this site, and we do not sell or rent anyone's information.

What we collect and why

If you sign up for updates, we store your email address and which list you joined (parent updates, or partner and press contact). We use it to send you the emails you asked for, and for nothing else. Signup is for people aged 18 and over. We do not ask for your name, your location, or any details about your children — please don't include them.

Children

This website is aimed at parents and grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and nothing on this site asks a child to sign up, log in, or share anything. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that tell us how many people visited and which pages they viewed — without identifying who anyone is, and without tracking anyone across the web. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site: there are no tracking cookies to warn you about.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers that make the site work — for example, the company that hosts this page and the service that sends our email newsletter. They process your email address on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We never sell or share your information for advertising.

Your choices

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately. You can also ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — just email us. We comply with applicable data protection laws, including South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012.
